How To Replace Vanity Light

Vanity lights are a type of lighting fixture that is typically installed above a bathroom vanity. They provide task lighting for the user and can also add a decorative touch to the bathroom. Replacing a vanity light is a relatively simple task that can be completed in a few hours. Here are the steps on how to replace a vanity light:

1. Safety First

Before you begin, turn off the power to the vanity light at the circuit breaker. This will help prevent any electrical accidents.

2. Remove the Old Vanity Light

Start by removing the light bulbs from the vanity light. Then, locate the screws that are holding the light fixture in place. Remove the screws and carefully pull the light fixture down from the wall.

3. Disconnect the Wires

Once the light fixture is down, you will need to disconnect the wires. There will be two wires, a black wire and a white wire. Disconnect the wires by unscrewing the wire nuts. Be careful not to touch the bare wires, as this could cause an electrical shock.

4. Connect the New Vanity Light
