How To Install Floating Vanity

1. Start by finding the studs in the wall where you want to install the vanity. You can use a stud finder to locate the studs.

2. Once you have found the studs, mark the location of the mounting brackets on the wall. The brackets should be spaced evenly apart, and should be located at the same height as the bottom of the vanity.

3. Drill pilot holes for the mounting brackets. The pilot holes should be slightly smaller than the diameter of the screws you will be using.

4. Insert the mounting brackets into the pilot holes and secure them with screws.

5. Lift the vanity onto the mounting brackets. The vanity should fit snugly against the wall.

6. Use a level to make sure the vanity is level. If the vanity is not level, adjust the mounting brackets accordingly.

7. Once the vanity is level, secure it to the wall with screws. The screws should be long enough to penetrate the drywall and into the studs.

8. If you are installing the vanity on a wall that does not have studs, you will need to use drywall anchors. Drywall anchors are available at most hardware stores.

9. Once the vanity is secured to the wall, caulk the seam between the vanity and the wall. This will help to prevent water from getting behind the vanity and causing damage.

10. Allow the caulk to dry completely before using the vanity.
